A STADIUM BAR WITH GREEN BAY HISTORY
Here at Poke the Bear, our history means everything — and so does our city. We’re located in the revitalized Hotel Northland, a historic establishment founded in 1924 and deeply embedded in the story of the city. During its heyday, our hotel housed figures like away sports teams playing against Green Bay, important political figures attending to business in the city, and expeditionists and tourists exploring the Heritage Trail — serving as a facilitator of tourism, city support and Green Bay pride. After serving another purpose for a number of years, the Hotel Northland is revitalized and reopening with the bold addition of Poke the Bear.
